Advanced Clinical Massage
Clinical massage is specific and effective massage that treats painful conditions in a safe nurturing way. With clinical massage we will aim to reduce your pain in regular outcome-based treatments. I can help treat common pain conditions. Pain can be caused by occupational injuries (eg repetitive strain injuries), long-term postural problems (eg rounded shoulders), lifestyle (eg carrying babies, gardening, long-distance driving), stress (eg headaches), overloading (eg carrying a heavy bag), trauma (eg fall or crash), degeneration (eg arthritis) or sports injury (eg ITB friction syndrome). When muscles and tendons become damaged or impaired, knotted and tense or immobile, clinical massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow. We will work within your pain threshold.
Amma Fusion Massage
Amma Fusion massage uses an exciting blend of the most effective Eastern massage techniques and draws from disciplines such as acupressure, table shiatsu and tuina. Utilising the model of meridians, or pathways of energy, amma is similar to acupuncture but uses the firm gentle pressure of hands to encourage movement of ki (energy) and to unblock stagnant ki. Amma Fusion works holistically and also targets specific problems and is great if you need re-energising as it focuses on re-balancing the body. This is a subtle yet direct, physical and powerful technique performed over clothing (so please wear loose clothing) to help bring balance to the body by increasing health and vitality.
Deep Tissue Massage
This massage is great if you just want to switch off and de-stress. Deep tissue techniques will get to those areas of tightness that need extra attention and release. The whole treatment is adapted to your needs and can be focused on specific areas (eg lower back, neck, back and shoulders, legs etc) to soothe, relax and rejuvenate the body. Very beneficial for those suffering from shoulder problems, headaches, a stiff neck and lower back pain. A wonderful way to totally relax your whole being and reduce tension.

Indian Head Massage
Can be incorporated into any of the above or can be a seated, clothed (no-oil) stand alone treatment. Based on the ancient traditional form of Champi (head massage) practised in India for over 1,000 years. This is particularly good for office workers as it concentrates on the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face releasing tension and alleviating eye-strain and tension held in the head. Promotes a sense of well-being, tranquillity and relaxation. Deeply relaxing.
